Phil Robertson Suspended from Duck Dynasty

Reality TV show star Phil Robertson is suspended from the hit show Duck Dynasty because of the remarks he made against homosexuality during an interview with GQ. During the interview he called homosexuality "not logical" and "bestiality". Because of these remarks A&E suspended him from the show for the time being. What might be more surprising than the original comments is the support from former vice president candidate Sarah Palin. She said that it was Phil's right to speak freely and that the actions taken by A&E is intolerable. Who knows when Phil will be back, but for the next couple weeks, or months, we'll just have to make do with Sy for now.

Rebellious Biden

Vice President Joe Biden is in China this week and he is encouraging Chinese youth to challenge the authority of the Chinese government. In addition to the government Biden also urged the youth to challenge their teachers and religious leaders. He stated that the reason America is so successful is because they challenge themselves to be individuals. He and the rest of the world fears that China is breeding robots who will do whatever the government says, and that's a scary thought. He showed them what life was like in America and hopes that this generation of Chinese youth will become individuals instead of carbon copies of the rest of the nation. Who knows what kind of reaction China and its youth will give Biden and his words after this, but Joe Biden might have sparked something that will become a big deal in the next decade or so to come.
